A fun, beginner's introduction to agility!
Dog Agility Training is a sport for any dog, whether you choose to compete or just have fun! Your dog will learn basic agility sequences and also gain confidence as it learns the obstacles: A-Frame, Dog Walk, Weave Poles, Jumps, Hoop, See Saw, Table & Tunnels! You will build a stronger bond with your dog while having fun together with dog training!
Our Beginner's Class will be taught by Gail Gardner and focuses on safely learning each piece of agility equipment and having fun with your dog. This is a perfect class for those who want to learn new things with their pets and also serves as an introduction to agility for those who wish to move on to competition. For dogs 6 months and over that have an understanding of basic obedience.
Our Intermediate Class will be taught by Gail Gardner and is for dogs and handlers who have completed the beginner's class and are ready to progress with their learned skills.
Gail is a member of the Durango Kennel Club, Durango Agility Dogs and the Papillon Club of America. Currently, she is training her Papillons Jolene and Mani in agility, obedience and rally. Her previous Papillon Nellie, achieved Master Agility titles, obedience and rally titles and was a registered therapy dog. Gail also teaches obedience, trick dog and therapy dog classes at Creature Comforts in Durango.

For puppies under 6 months. Looking for something fun and educational to do with your puppy? Get them started in agility in a fun class that will get them used to stepping on different surfaces, being introduced to low (on the ground) agility equipment and playing and tugging with toys and food motivator toys. This class will let your puppy use his brain and figure out how his body works. A fun playful way to build confidence in your puppy!
For dogs 6 months and older. Learn the basics of agility in a fun atmosphere. This class is the first step to becoming an agility star!
