Basic Obedience Classes at Creature Comforts

This five-week class is designed for dogs 5 months and older, helping them acclimate to new environments, people, and other dogs. You’ll learn practical, foundational skills, while your dog gains valuable experience in a safe, structured setting - skills they can use both at home and in public.

Please note our basic obedience group class is NOT for dogs that show aggression or reactivity towards other dogs or people.

Additional Information

Q: What do I need to bring for class?
A: Dogs need a secure collar or harness e.g., flat collar, slip lead, gentle leader, pinch collar or easy walk harness (harness allowed for small breeds only), a 6 foot leash (not retractable or bungee), soft training treats and a treat bag to hold your treats. Creature Comforts carry a variety of options or a cotton nail apron from Home Depot or Ace Hardware is ideal.

Q: Can more than one person attend the class?
A: Yes, you may bring one additional family member.

Q: When do I pay, what is the cost and how do I pay?
A: Payment is due at the first week of class. The cost for the 5 week class is $185.00. We accept cash or a check made payable to Diane's Clever K9s.
