Board and Train

My board and train program is one of the most effective ways to improve your dog’s obedience training, improve confidence, and develop a stronger canine-human relationship through mutual understanding and clear expectations. I include a comprehensive learning process, where your dog will learn rules, structure and boundaries, incorporating socialization and environmental work. Your dog will develop new skills and an overall calmer state-of-mind that will make it easy for you to continue the training at your home. Included in your dog’s training program is participation in our basic obedience classes where your dog will work in a group setting with other class students. He/she will go on field trips so that the training and new behaviors are proofed around lots of distractions and situations before returning home to you. I believe in a well-rounded and balanced training approach resulting in a happy, well-mannered dog.

Your dog will learn:

Come when called (recall)
Wait at doorways and other thresholds
Walk politely (heel on leash)
Sit
Down
Duration work (stay with distractions)
Go to place (bed or cot)
Wait for meals
Treadmill work
Interaction/play with appropriate dogs

This program includes a half hour consultation at time of drop off and a 1.5 hr pick up lesson where all the training is demonstrated and information and techniques are transferred to the handler, plus two one hour follow up lessons to make sure you are comfortable maintaining your dog’s new and improved behavior. During your dog's training program you will receive email, photo and video updates on your dog's progress. Upon completion of the program, we offer FREE follow-up training with other clients (pack walks) and lifetime training support on the methods you learned during the program.

Training tools that may be used in this program (not included in price) slip lead, Herm Sprenger training collar, K9 Lifeline transitional leash and a Mini Educator e.collar.

Three Week Off Leash Program $3,600.00
